TEACH YOUR KIDS TO DREAM! When I was young, I wish someone had told me that I could grow up to be anything I wanted one day. It would have been fuel for dreaming. A scientist. An astronaut. An architect. Instead, I grew up thinking I was unworthy of anything but hard manual labor. I had low self-esteem, no direction, and was a poor student. Even in my early 20s, I believed that the road to prosperity was a strong back, calluses, and honesty. I was very hard-working but ignorant. I was unaware that it took so much more. To have had the idea in my mind that I could be anything I wanted to be would have given my life energy, focus, and an entirely different direction.
